Despite Niamh's obvious disabilities, she was a very happy little girl when she was not in pain.

She was always a fighter and always tried to be part of everything that was going on.
She loved loud noises and busy places - shopping trips, parties - just like all little girls.

She got comfort from chewing her dummy and she loved cuddles.

She would laugh in response to touch and movement and for such a fragile little thing, she liked nothing more than a bit of rough and tumble play!

She would giggle infectiously when she was tickled, she loved having her nappy changed and she had the longest eyelashed I have ever seen in my life!

Niamh was never excluded from activities or events because of her disabilities and led a full and happy life.
